HRT and Help for Transgender Patients from Planned Parenthood in Minnesota, Missouri, Montana and Nevada

Did you know that 18+ patients can receive Hormone Replacement Therapy at many Planned Parenthood Health Centers around the country? Check this list for the Planned Parenthood Health Centers around the country that offer Trans Health Care.  Planned Parenthood also has some great educational programs related to gender identities, check the previous link or your local Planned Parenthood Health Center.

Even more importantly, did you know that Planned Parenthood offers many services, even HRT via telehealth?  This means that if you are not physically close to a Planned Parenthood Health Center that offers Hormone Replacement Therapy, if that Planned Parenthood in your state has a Telehealth program, you don’t have to travel to a physical site to get HRT.  If the center provides HRT via telehealth, typically a presciption for your hormones can be sent to you and fullfilled at a nearby pharmacy.

Planned Parenthood Health Centers are also great places to get to know because they provide many other important services.  These services include sexual and reproductive health, screenings and treatments for HIV and STD’s, men’s and women’s health care, primary and preventative health care and often also many routine medical screenings for a variety of conditions.  Planned Parenthood Health Centers accept many insurance programs as well as medicare, medicaid, and some can also help you identify an affordable insurance program or help you understand if you qualify for programs to help pay for medical care.

Minnesota  Planned Parenthood Health Centers are part of the Parenthood of the North Central States – PPNCS.  PPNCS as (18) Health Centers. in Minnesota and offers Transgender Hormone Therapy at many health center and they’ve expanded their Telehealth to include hormone therapy.    The (18) PPNCS Health Centers in Minnesota are located in Alexandria, Apple Valley, Bemidji, Brooklyn Park, Duluth, Eden Prairie, Grand Rapids, Mankato, Minneapolis, Moorhead, Richfield, Rochester, St. Cloud, St. Paul – Vadalia, St Paul – Rice Street, Virginia, Willmar and Woodbury

Missouri has (10) Planned Parenthood Health Centers which are part of (2) organizations, Planned Parenthood of the Great Plains  – PPGP and Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri  – PPSLRSWM. PPGP offers Hormone Therapy for Transgender Patients at (3) of the Missouri Health Centers.  The PPGP Missouri Health Centers that offer Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy are in Columbia, Gladstone and Independence.  There is also the Patty Brous Health Care Center in Kansas City which does not offer Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy, but does offer many of the other important services that can be found at Planned Parenthood incluing sexual/ reproductive health, men’s & women’s health.

PPSLRSWM has (6) Health Centers in Missouri.  While none of these health centers offers HRT these do offer other important services to LGBTQ patients like sexual/ reproductive health and men’s & women’s health.  The PPSLRSWM Health Centers are located in St. Louis (West End), St. Louis, St Peters, Florissant, Springfield, and Manchester.

If you are not located near any of the Health Center sites in Missouri that offer HRT, they may offer this service via telehealth.  Call one of the sites that offers HRT to see if you can arrange for telehealth appointments for HRT.

Montana  has (5) Health Centers that are part of Planned Parenthood Montana, Inc.,- PPMT .  (3) of the PMT Health Centers provide Transgender Health Care Services and Telehealth.  The Health Centers that provide HRT are in  Billings (West), Billings (Heights) and  Helena.  The Health Centers in  Great Falls and Missoula do not offer HRT, but these do have other important services for LGBTQ patients like sexual/ reproductive health and men’s & women’s health.

Nevada  has (3) Planned Parenthood Health Centers that are part of two Planned Parenthood organizations, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte – PPMM and Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains – PPRM

PPMM has (1) Health Center in Nevada That offers Gender Affirming Therapy located in Reno.  PPRM has (2) Health Centers in Las Vegas, East Charlestona and West Charleston.  While the Health Centers in Las Vegas do not offer HRT, but these do have other important services for LGBTQ patients like sexual/ reproductive health and men’s & women’s health.
